Does Shield work on iOS?+
The Shield app is Android-first today; the iOS app is coming soon (TestFlight later in 2026 — join the waitlist on the Download page). Right now, iOS devices are still protected by Shield's network-level DNS filtering, with no app required. Windows, macOS, ChromeOS and Kindle arrive in v2.0.
Can I monitor multiple children?+
Yes. Standard covers up to 5 children (3 devices each). Premium supports unlimited children and devices. The free 14-day trial includes everything so you can test with your whole family before choosing a plan.
What is DNS filtering?+
DNS filtering works at the network level — before harmful content even loads on a device. When your child's device looks up a website, Shield intercepts that lookup and blocks it if it matches a filtered category (e.g. adult content, gambling, malware). It works on Android, iOS, and any device connected through a configured router — no app required on the device itself.
Is my child's data private?+
Absolutely. Shield is built India-first and is DPDP-ready. We never store message content — AI runs on anonymised patterns (e.g. Child_A instead of real names) and surfaces only safety-relevant insights. You can export or delete all your family's data at any time from Settings, on every plan including Free.
Which payment methods are accepted?+
Paid plans are billed through Razorpay (UPI, Net Banking, cards, wallets — all major Indian payment methods).
Can my child disable Shield?+
No. On Android, Shield uses Device Admin to make uninstall a parent-only action. On iOS (coming soon), removal will require an MDM profile and your password.
Can I change plans later?+
Yes, any time from Settings → Billing. Upgrades are instant; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
Do you offer annual discounts?+
Yes — annual plans get 2 months free (effectively ~16% off). Annual billing is available at checkout. We also offer education and NGO pricing — contact us for details.
